I was approved for the sleeve on Tuesday so i thought, got the approval letter today and it said approved for gastric bypass WTF. Now i no that my advocate received the same letter why hasnt she brought this to my attention. I read somewhere that the wrong code can result in a delay, should i call her Monday or should i wait until i see my surgeon on the 25th thats when i receive my date.

Hi Im with Cigna I have a bmi of 53 with no co-morbidities. With most insurance with a bmi over 40 u dont have to have them, oh by the way i was approved. not sure about your insurance sorry.

Called Cigna yesterday and found out im approved talk to my advocate today and i meet my surgeon June 25th once o talk to her i will get my surgery date. Hoping for early July. Oh it only took 5 working days :D

My paperwork was sent on the 5th called cigna today and they said they dont see it on file yet should i wait a couple more days or get my advocate to resend it.

I wish I had that much taken off mine with all my appointments only 400 has gone toward my out of pocket. I was submitted June 5th so im done with appointments, waiting for approval now

I have Cigna OAP and my OOP is 2500 which my surgeon wants paid before surgery.
