  1. Iiquid bowels? Is this normal or am I reacting to whey Protein?
  2. I went through the same thing. The carb withdrawal was a real shock.
  3. Omg this! I am so sure it won't work for me! I asked my surgeon too and got a similar response...but it feels so impossible
  4. It is kinda like a test. It forces you to examine your relationship with food. I am on day six. I am on no solids. It has made me feel more committed to this journey.
  5. I don't know. Solid protein would be nice. I have the "should have been predictable" issue of liquid in, liquid out.

  7. Big dog, for me days 2 and three were the hardest... It totally got better
  8. 10 more days. I am on day 5 of my liquid diet prep and it is true what they say. Your hunger fades...
  9. Yes. Protein shakes, broth, sugar free jello. And lots of water. 11 more days on it. I have learned the meaning of head hunger. And I think I am suffering withdrawal symptoms from carbs

  14. Thanks Robin. So far the diet isn't too bad. But I am trying to stay calm. Excited nervous...feel a little nuts

  16. Well it's off to get my head examined than. I am hoping the guy who did my consult will see me
  17. I am self pay. I am just required to get one session in before the surgery. It threw me for a loop. I thought I had done " fine" with my psych interview.
  18. Just found out my phyc consult resulted in a recommendation for therapy. I have to have my first one by a week before my surgery June 28th. I now feel stressed, a little judged, crazy and like this is going to block my surgery.
  19. Even though I am self pay my surgen requires a letter of medical necessity. I am paranoid my primary won't do it! I am just so worried that something is going to stand in the way of my sleeve!

  22. Anyone heard any stories of people regretting their sleeve?
  23. My surgery date got pushed back a week. My surgeon will be out of town. So disappointing!
