  1. breathe! it will be wonderful. I know the exact feeling! i was in your shoes just two weeks ago. you will freak out as you are waiting to go into the OR but when you come out you will be totally relieved! it is fantastic. It has only been a few days for me but already it is wonderful. Granted the liquid diet is going to be a huge try of your self restraint! but after the few days it passes!
  2. im not really hungary but the sight of solid food looks super appitising!
  3. I too am on day 3. I am feeling great. Im off pain meds but i am a bit sore by evening. I have dropped about 5lbs. which isnt surprising given that liquids are the only thing on the menu for a while. I am feeling great!
  4. did mine yesterday! ready to start the journey!
  5. It takes a ton of jumping through hoops to reach the end goal. I had my surgery yesterday. It is kind of a scary thought for me that yesterday my life changed forever! i have never been a thin girl, i mean i am 21 and just had lapband. With the surgery there are so many different emotions involved, but the minute you come out of anesthesia it is an amazing feeling knowing you made that leap to have a healthier future.
