  5. I'm also 1 week post-op. i haven't had any pains since Sunday. I've been walking a lot so I think that helps. My incision area is sensitive. I'm on liquids for 1 more week. I can't wait to take a bite of some solid food. Good job on your weight loss so far. I'm down 24 lbs so far, 17 pre-op and 7 post. I'm not back to work yet due to heavy lifting. I figure about 5 more weeks then I'll be ready. I'm ready to make better food choices and use this tool the best I can. Good luck and I'm sure you will succeed.
  6. Thanks for the reply.
  7. I've been banded 1 week now. Im on a liquid diet For 2 weeks post op. I went to the bathroom a little on Sunday and nothing else since then. Should I be worried?
  8. Pain is okay except for some stiffness from not sleeping at all the first night post op in the hospital. I had no problem today with what I ate that's why I made this post. I'm walking a lot.
  9. Today started with 12oz protein drink. Between 10am to 630pm I had 1 cup of beef broth, 1 cup cream of mushroom puréed and 1/2 cup no sugar apple sauce. 34oz of water in between and I'm going to have another protein drink later. Too much ?
  10. My surgery was at 9:30 tomorrow but they changed it to 7:00 am . Good luck I'm sure it will all go well.
  11. Has anyone passed up on not getting the first fill ? I started off being 100 lbs over weight, I already lost 15 ore-op. just thinking of not getting the first fill to see if I can maintain eating small portions without a fill.
  12. Is it true that your not able to sleep on your stomach? I know for a while after surgery but my friend has the band for almost 2 yrs and still can't . Anybody ?
  13. Thanks for the replies. Good luck to all. I'm sure we all can do it. This forum is great for support. I'm not gonna lie... I can't wait to have a bite of some pizza. Of course it will be home made and healthy. Good luck
  14. Well my surgery is 4-20. I'm not nervous just anticipating the unknown. Reading a lot of post here is helping me understand what to expect and that we all are human. I should be on my liquid diet but have been eating palm size pieces of protein. I think life is testing me, everywhere I look food is popping out. M&Ms on sale, gathering of food trucks and pizza commercials ! Thanks to everyone for helping me in understanding what to expect. I know I'll be able to get through this and understand I'm only human when I make a mistakes.
