  1. Well not sure of my next step. My surgery was Dec. 2011 and I am down a whopping 25 lbs. right now. Many people notice I am not losing. Even if I do go out to eat, I eat no more than half of my food. I eat so much less. Still, it is making me very sad. VERY SAD PJ I thought this was the answer.

  3. And so I was reading that someone else took 6 months to get to the "sweet spot". Today is my 6 months and I am still not there. I went in to the doctors today and got a fill. I was down only a little. They knew I was very discouraged. They were so good to me today. The doctor said when I get the right fill, it will all change. Then they showed me my bloodwork!!! I had the diabetes one ( AC whatever) at 7.5 when I started this journey. Today it was 6.2 !! My triglicerides were 177 and today 122. I am getting healthy even if it is not fast weight loss. I feel a little better about that.
  4. I was banded December 6 2011 and only down 23 lbs, I need something. I am so jealous also. I keep hearing , it wil come off..but it does not for me!
  5. How in the world did you get inside of me and see all of that????????

  7. thank you for responding, I did not think anyone would. You just made my day. My doctor does do fills. It works for like 3 days and then it is not the same. Maybe I just need more fills then the average bear. I know others that have had the band and are down 40 pounds by now. I guess I compare too much. I also have severe thyroid and take 3 pills a day and PCOS. I just feel it should be more. FASTER. dont we all want faster??
  8. OMG!!! I am in the same boat. I was banded 12/6/11 and have lost a total of 23 lbs. I am hungry a lot of the time and the doc keeps saying, when it gets adjusted right it will work. Well I have run out of co pays with so many adjustments. I can eat most things still and am ashamed that I do somewhat. If I could stick to a diet I would not have had to come here to begin with. I have cried so much recently that I am getting depressed. People look at me and my own mother called me fat ass, and she used to be 300 lbs before she had bypass and almost died. I started at 249 and today was 229 again. :<((((
