  1. No catheter or drainage tube for me. It was hard getting up every hour on the hour to go to the bathroom the same day I had surgery, but I survived.
  2. Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery. If your experience is anything like mine has been (4 months post-op), you will be very pleased with your decision. It is literally the best thing I've ever done for myself and I truly believe that my Dr. saved my life. The first night will be kinda rough on you, but hang in there and have faith that it will get better and easier each passing day. GOOD LUCK!!!

  4. I know this may sound strange, but try smelling the Cheetos. There have been several things since my surgery that I thought I wanted and smelling them has satisfied me more than the eating probably would have. Good luck and hang in there!
