  1. ok just wanted to update: I went to the dr. two weeks ago with my pain that I had been having at night. They decided to do an ultrasound of my gallbladder and found that I had allot of gallstones. I had it checked before surgery in March 2012 and had none but now they were definitely there. I had surgery Monday 7/30/12 to remove my gallbladder. Still recovering but no more pains like that.
  2. Ok I have the same issue, my gallbladder is good no stones or nothing. So I really think its severe gas pains. Mine only happens at night and it has happened three times since I had my surgery (3/13/12). When I talked to the Dr. about it they thought it was weird because on each occasion I had nothing to eat after 6 and still happened at bedtime which was at least 4 hours or so after I had eaten anything. When it happens I will take gas x strips and it will ease up enough for me to go back to sleep. So I don't know I am still trying to figure it out but at least now I know I am not the only one
  3. Today I hit 50 lbs lost, I still have a long way to go but 50 just sounds and feels so good
  4. Before surgery they check my gall bladder and said it looked fine, but it could be. I will keep a good i on it . Thanks
  5. Dr said it was probly what I had eaten iritated my stomach, so back to liquids for today & tomorow
  6. It seems to be better today, I go to see the dr. on Monday for my six week post op visit. I think I may still call and ask about it
  7. Can anyone tell me if this is normal. i was up all night will extreme pain in my stomach, it felt like a really bad cramp that was coming all the way through my back. I have never felt anything like it before.
  8. Good Luck !!!
  9. Great Job, That is so inspiring !!!!
  10. Good Luck to you tooo Have fun with the pureed lol @ JRPRN
  11. Ok so surgery was on 3/13/12. Surgery went ok allot more painful than I was expecting, but I have recovered fine. Today I have lost little over 30lbs and hopefully will lose ALOT more lol I start soft foods today and am so ready for something that is not pureed. I have my 6 week follow up appointment in a couple of weeks and am curious to see how that goes. I cannot eat much because it makes me feel allot of pressure just below my chest which I guess is normal. I need some support on my journey and thought this blog might help me relate to some people that have had the surgery. My husband tries to be supportive but don't succeed most of the time lol
