  4. I've followed my book to a T and I feel I'm hitting roadblocks. I'm maybe able to get down two or three bites of anything and my stomach is making weird noises and won't let me eat anymore.   10. Is it normal to have such bitter taste after brushing in the morning? I know of course before the surgery after you may have off taste buds after brushing but I'm experiencing a super bitter aftertastes lasting a good while. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. My husband, children and I travel to the in-laws every Thanksgiving. I will only be three weeks postop on soft foods. I'm wondering should I be prepared to go grocery shopping or just take my food scale and purée machine for turkey and green Beans? I don't know why I'm so anxious about this.   15. travelher, yes I had the band removed because it slipped and got the sleeve on Tuesday. My surgeon says I'm having such difficulties getting things down because of scarring from the band I was wondering if anyone had experienced this and how long it went on.   23. jhawaiianhny, I was in Maui a few weeks ago for our ten anniversary! I too am Nov 1! I packed lip balm, toiletries, charger, slippers, comfortable clothes to go home in and gasx strips should they let me have them( everyone was recommending me pack some) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
