  1. Hello I'm new here. Thought I should introduce my self. I live in the quad city area in IL. I'm 47 now but I will be 48 by the time I have my surgery, Which is May 2, 2012. I'm having the lap band done. I'm starting to get nervous now that I have a date and time for the surgery. I'm sure I will be fine. I think every one gets a little scared when it comes to surgery. So I'm hoping to lose 105lbs. And I'm hoping to do so in a years time. So is that realistic? I would love to find a buddy or maybe even a few buddies, I could be a email buddy, cell phone buddy and a local buddy. So if any one is looking for a buddy , here I am! Well about the only thing you know about me is my age and type of surgery I'm having. ha! ha ok here is a little about me. I'm married and have been for 15 great years now. I work for a trucking co. as a dispatcher. I like my job a lot. My husband also works at the same place. I have one grown daughter that I love dearly but she believes i love my other two adopted kids more than her, their names are Precious - is my little girl and Dopey is my little boy and they both are yorkies. I have been over weight my whole life. Ok it's getting late I better get to bed. Thanks for letting me babble on and on. Debbie
