I had my surgery on a saturday im a beauty therapist and didn't return to work for 11 days . I could of gone back after about 7 to be honest and would of been quite comfortable. I was quite tired at the end of the day but now almost 3 weeks post op I'm finding it easier! Good luck it's worth it.

Does anyone manage pasta? I love pasta would love some!! I'm on pureed at the mo. any suggestions

Hi all!! Quick question?? How long after surgery till its ok to bathe? I'm 2 weeks since op healed really quick and well no open wounds!! Fed up of showering want to lay in my bath .

I'm proud of myself! And of anyone else who's had wls !! I have had some people say I shouldn't of done it Im not big enough I should of done it in my own but quite clearly I CAN'T!!! And give me ten years and more weight goes on and more illnesses creep in ..... Wow what a life!!! To be honest I think people who give back bad feed back are narrow minded and probably gelous! Why should we not feel good and happy and most of all be healthy !!!! If they don't understand who cares there feedback really don't matter it's you that matters .

I also felt like you and was thinking " oh my god what have I done !!" but on day 8 post surgery now and I'm back to normal ! I can sleep on my side get out of bed no probs . Everyday as long as u take it easy but do try to walk it does help you will feel better and better .

I searched gastric band weight loss and they came up there is 2 that look good so I've since ordered another 1!!!!

Thanks so much for replies I've been on amazon and found a recipe book specially for banded meals starting from purée and solid meals!! Looking forward to try some of ideas out .

Hi I was banded 1 week ago been managing purée basic meals with no probs but have a family was looking for ideas on meals we can all enjoy?? I love cooking and am enjoying every minute so far of my new relationship with food!!!!
