    also some people who do not move after surgery and are seditary are prone to getting blood clots. the cost for me was 12 for a month supply. the people who are having to pay over $$$ may not have insurance or paid cash for the surgery.

    I am 1 month post op and I take my last lovenox injection tonight. I was put on this med due to me having a history of pulmonary embolism (blood clot in my lungs) and the recommendation for pts like me is to take the injections 2x a day for 4wks. hope that helps
