Hi Apelt, Don't feel that way. I am in the same boat with you, I am now 250lbs. I have been harassed and called names so I decided to get that LapBand. I finally decided to do it thought was not covered by my insurance. At this point I did not care. I just went ahead and paid out of my pocket. After this I will go for gynecomastia surgery. I thought the same too but I checked online n with other dr friends & I was told it will be ok. Was just told not to eat anything after midnight before surgery day.
