  2. Hi Apelt, Don't feel that way. I am in the same boat with you, I am now 250lbs. I have been harassed and called names so I decided to get that LapBand. I finally decided to do it thought was not covered by my insurance. At this point I did not care. I just went ahead and paid out of my pocket. After this I will go for gynecomastia surgery. Please email me directly at SfbayMoe@gmail.com and we can chat and share interesting stories. Thanks Moe
  3. Thanks for all the information. I am so excited to get banded. I am very positive about it and looking forward to it. I am just nervous that someone mentioned that I could die if I start choking.
  4. I have tried so many different diets and now I am so ready for the Lap Band. I am 5'5" tall with 250lbs. I am so tired of hearing from my friends and co-workers calling me fat ass. I have tried to loose weight and actually lost 40lbs with HCG 500 calorie diet. After I was done with that diet for 40days all the weight came right back. Right now it is affecting me emotionally. I also have gyenocomastia and hope that this LapBand surgey will help me not only loosing weight but reduce my gyenocomastia. I have not told any of my friends that what I am going to get done for I do not want to hear all the negatives from them. I only have mentioned to 4 of my extremely close friends and they all are very supportive. I am going to have my PreOp Appt on 04/02/2012. Right now I just can't wait to get banded on April 24th 2012. Can anyone tell me what should I be expecting and what I should ask the Surgeron during my PreOp. I will be posting here after my PreOp Appt on 04/02/2012. Thanks in Advance Moe
