I have to loose 15 pounds plus do a full liquid diet for three weeks prior to surgery, waiting on the 15 pound lost then it will be submitted to my insurance, very frustrating but I'm working hard. I plan to do a week of clear liquids before I go back to see my surgeon on July 6...good luck to you

  15. I'm done with all neccessary appointments that was required by my insurance but my surgeon wants me to loose 15 pounds before she even submits it to my insurance. My last weigh in I was 277 on this past monday and today I weighed in at 268. I'm just ready to get this over with because it's getting frustrating and my blood pressure is high often...need some encouragement!!!!
  16. I started my process in April and I'm finally finished with neccessary appointments, I meet the surgeon tomorrow so hopefully it will be submitted this week and as for six month required supervised diet it really just depends on what type of insurance you have, some require it and some don't. I have la care thru Medicaid and they required six consecutive months of weightloss attempts documented by your pcp (old or new) I had all but two which I just completed, all the other appointments plus school keeps me busy so time flys by. Good luck to you
