  1. For some people it takes just 1 fill, for others more. Are you keeping a food diary ??? I found mine really helpful and wished I had carried on with it to be honest. Are you able to eat all the types of foods you did before? How about your portion sizes? Chin up x
  2. That's strange and not good if the banding wasn't explained to you. We are all different with our bands. I have had just 3 fills and I'm happy (just 3mls) although I've had patients who have 8 mls and feel no restriction at all. How is your weight loss? x
  3. Yep me :-). Had mine done in Nov 2008 and have lost 9 stone x

  6. I get a tight feeling in my chest and a pain right in the middle of my upper back, a tight feeling. The only thing I can do is be sick which I know isn't good. I should know when enough is enough by now !!!

  8. Don't be disheartened. I'm just over 3 years and decided to have a fill 4 days ago, I've had to have it unfilled today as couldn't keep liquids down. You're not a failure. Having a band isn't an easy fix, it's hard work. Keep your chin up x
  9. I'm just 3 years post banding. I have lost 9 stone (154lbs) and am very happy. It's not an easy fix, it's hard work but so worthwhile. It's do nice to be connected to others who have been through the same as me. Am I the only person from England on here?? Be interesting to see how treatment differs.
