  1. Premier shakes can be purchased at Sam's also. Besides Chocolate which I like, they have added the Vanilla recently. Someone mentioned the GNC in Vanilla, I also take this. Another favorite is Nectar, especially the Chocolate Truffle and Vanilla Bean. Instead of buying the tubs, you can purchase small single use packs of Nectar to sample the different flavors.
  2. Mixed results for me. I weighed 311 lbs. on my surgery date of 11/2/2011. Today, I weigh 216. I can tell you I do not sweat nearly as much as I once did and I contribute that to the weight loss. It is 90+ plus here in South Carolina and I can tolerate it better than ever before. However, I was cold-blooded most of the winter right after my surgery. I have always been warm-blooded, so the surgery did have some effect on me right away.
  3. This is actually more common than you think. Everyone's body reacts differently initially to the surgery, so don't be disheartened. Another thing to look forward to is a stall, which I'm sure you've already read about from other members. You get so use to a drop in weight and the that stall kicks in. It will happen, so don't be discouraged when it comes. You need to stay positive and focused on your goals. Positive energy only!!!
  4. Stay positive! I was initially denied, but kept the process going and crossed every T and dotted every I. I was sleeved on 11/2/2011 by Dr. Antonetti through the same office. Today, I have lost 80lbs. since the surgery. The workers there were very helpful and helped me the whole way. Good Luck and stay with it!
  5. Yes, the Nectar Chocolate Truffles are wonderful!!
  6. Hello Everyone!!!! I have been following this site for a couple of weeks and decided to join today. I was sleeved on November 2, 2011 in Lexington, SC by Dr. Marc Antonetti. To date, I have lost 35 lbs. as of this morning. I have gained a lot of helpful information from a lot of your posts and will continue to do so. I have a long journey ahead and I appreciate any support that may be thrown my way. Thanks in Advance, Paul
