How old am I?
And the answer is……......... Since all these pictures were taken in the last 6 months, and are all pre-op, I am the same age in all of them. Drum roll....... 29! My birthday is September 14, 1984 When I was 13, I was always asked to buy cigarettes for people who were under age. I have never been carded since that age. When I met my husband, I was 21, he was 36 at the time. He thought I was 28, so he had no problem dating me. Boy was he surprised haha! Thank you everyone for participating! I am so exited to come back after my surgery in Halloween 6 mo- a year later. Of course there will be progress pics along the way. Yay! You are all awesome!

Any October surgeries out there...
I am also Oct 31st! I am plan in to wear a bumblebee costume to the hospital! Of course I will have an appropriate attire post surgery haha. But no one can tell me after surgery that I cannot wear my antennae haha. Next year I will hopefully debut my bumblebee again, as a queen bee, hopefully skinner haha!! I start my pre-op diet Oct 17th! Sooo excited, I find that my head likes to play games with me. Excitement... Fear... And back to excitement.

How old am I?
Greetings to you all! I am really curious as people always assume I am older than I am; which is not a bad thing. So I want to do a little experiment, I want to post a picture of myself now, pre-surgery and see how old you think I am. This is not something where you say oh, 19, and think 29 haha. I want the hard numbers that you genuinely see. I want to see if I age from weight loss or lose years. I am attached a few pictures taken within the last year. Thank you for your honesty. Also yes, the little boy is my nephew. Love him so much!!

In comparison to your pre-op days, being post op, what surprised you? I am feeling as prepared as possible, but there are always thugs that happen afterward that you did not expect to happen albeit good or bad.- My doctor doesn't want me to have the sleeve :(
Thank you everyone for the feedback. I will be going ahead with the bypass. I am slowly coming around to the idea. My GERD is quite severe, and no acid medication has alleviated my pain. I just received my date for Halloween and am so excited! I still have more research to do, but things are going great. Thank you all again, you made some great valid points!- Happy Halloween!
It has finally happened for me! I got my surgery date. Halloween!! I am so excited. It has been almost 2 years of heartache and stress, but things are looking up. In addition to this, I am getting braces too! A whole new me. Yay!!! ❤️- Calling nurses for help

So the day has finally come. After just about 2 years of waiting and struggling, I will be having my Gastric bypass on halloween. I am so excited!!!- Calling nurses for help
Hello, So I am in the pre-op stage, and will be getting my surgery in the next few months. My question for you nurses is; how do you get all your required food an nutrients in on a work day. I am a student nurse with clinical, and I am wondering how to best use my pouch during a day and during shift work. Thanks ❤- When was the weight loss noticeable?
I am pre-op and have lost 40lbs. I definitely see and feel the difference. I have gone from a 4x to a 2x. I started at 333lbs at 5'6" and now weigh 293 lbs. I am already feeling great, but no one has noticed yet. But mor impotantly I notice!- what will I look like at 5'4" 150lbs?
Try going to mybodygallery.com. I am hoping you are a female, as this site has women exclusively.- My doctor doesn't want me to have the sleeve :(
So I had my consultation with my bariatric surgeon yesterday, and he wants me to get gastric bypass. His reasoning is that the sleeve doesn't help gerd which I have and in fact makes it worse. I am terrified if bypass, yet I have prepared for 2 years for the sleeve. I feel so disappointed. I understand his reasoning, but i am still terrified.- Thank you Cheri!
You may not have known, but you are truly an inspiration to me. I wanted to make a special post to thank you for your dedication and guidance to so many people on this forum. Purely inspirational, and I hope I can pay forward a fraction of the inspiration that you have provided someday!! Cheers to you!!!- So excited the wait is almost over
After 1.5 years(approx), my wait is almost over. I got a call today with a date for orientation!! Only about 6 more months to go!! So excited!- I hate skinny Beotchs
I am probably going to get flamed but I don't feel that we should judge these people as well. We get upset when people judge us, and they are no different. It doesn't matter how much you weigh, you are never satisfied, whether it is fast weight loss or not. Please do not mistake me, I understand your frustration, and you have every right to feel frustrate and angry, but it might be helpful to try to see things through her eyes.- Sleevers over 300lbs?
I am still waiting for my surgery. After 1.5 years of waiting, I am hoping for a december surgery. HW: 326 CW: 311 Height: 5'6 or 7" i have no idea. Was 5'7 but the doc says 6 lol Keep us posted fellow peeps!- Sleevers over 300lbs?
