  1. I've heard 2 days liquids, then mushy until comfortable with regular food again. I'm currently on day 2 and haven't even been able to handle the liquids.
  2. I recently had my band let out (4cc) for the first time in 2 years. I was having issues keeping food down for 3 weeks and it turned into not being able to handle liquids without getting sick. My band was let out for 4 weeks and I gained significant weight (almost 20 pounds). Most of it was due to Water weight as I gained 5 the first day I was able to drink water. This past week I went back in for a fill. The surgeon filled the band (3.75cc) and I was able to take the water down with little restriction and he let it out to (3.7cc). I left the office and an hour later had to pull over the car to get sick. I haven't kept anything down since and all I've tried is water, apple juice, and mylanta. I vaguely remember being filled 2 years ago for the first time and being sick like this for about 3 days. Is this common? Does anyone else have this type of trouble when they are filled? Any suggestions? I would really like to be able to drink water at least without getting sick. Can't go to the surgeon for at least 4 days as he is not available, need assistance until then.
