  1. I had my surgery the 16th of march and I'm at 9cc in a 14cc band and I finally feel good too!!! I do not feel hungry a lot now. So eventually it works. Just takes time. I can now easily go from meal to meal w/I needing to snack because I feel full and satisfied. In fact I'm to the point where I'll realize it's time to eat because I get hungry rather than thinking about food just an hr after eating. It's very nice!
  2. Be had a few things occur in the last few days that may have contributed to my port site soreness but not sure what or if it's serious. 1). Minday, I was babysitting my neighbors kids and one of them smacked me in the port site w/a ballon on a string. It hurt a little bit and that was the end of it. 2). Tuesday I had a vigorous workout. I've been lifting weights since week 7, but I had a more intense cardio workout. Not sure if I tweaked a muscle. 3). Tuesday night after dinner I got a little nauseous and had to 'throw up' a little bit. Of course nothing came up. Now Walt Wednesday morning I noticed my port site is a little sore. Any ideas if one or all may have contributed? Am I in trouble? Should I go see my doctor? Or am I being a worry wort? Thanks!
  3. I'm having the same problem. I actually started tracking my calories and I'm eating less than 1000 calories. I've lost 30 pounds but gains back 1, so down 29 now. I have two weeks til my 6w post op. I stated walking as well and hoping the weight loss picks back up. Trying not to get discouraged...
  4. I hope my mind is just getting the better of me! I'm so terrified that my port isn't meshing w/my body n dr will have to do another surgery to remove it, let heal, n then yet another surgery after that to restore another port. I've heard of this happening and it terrifies me! I just want to b successful!!
  5. M having sharp pain while walking and bending on and around large incision site. Not sure if it's normal healing or sign of something wrong...I'm seeing the dr tomorrow morning but I'm a little nervous Anybody else have this happen?
  6. What I would do is order a drink when arriving at a Resturaunt or drink fluids while I'm cooking dinner. That way im hydrated and not thirsty when eating. I then would deny refills after the food has arrived...
  7. I am 4-days post op and I'm still struggling when trying to pee. Anybody else experience this? If so do you know why??
