letubu got a reaction from Passionatehrt in On Pureed Diet:: Need Meal Ideas?? HelpHi, I was banded on April 3. I'm on purees too but I'm only allowed 3 tbl spoons 3x a day of protien. (a little light mayo and season is okay)
I've been eating refried Beans, black beans, egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad (using can chicken) and cottage cheese. I don't think I can put anything in the blender either. It just does not sound like I could stomach it.
I've also been having 1 Protein shake as one of my meals.
Sorry that I'm not much of a help.

letubu got a reaction from judych in 1 Week In Any Ideas On Meals To Be Pureed?I purchased low fat small curd cottage cheese. I did not need to puree it. I just made sure that I chewed until I felt it was smooth. The egg salad, I used 2 hard boiled eggs a small amount of light mayo, small squeeze of dijon mustard, little salt pepper & dill. I used an strawberry slicer and I cut the egg once one way than spun it to cut it the other way. Then I mixed it all together. I did not puree it just again made sure I chewed it so it was smooth.

letubu reacted to LB4Me in Mushie Food.... ??Try low fat refried beans with some pureed salsa mixed in to make them looser. You can add a bit of low fat sour cream as well. I also made a mock lasagna by microwaving jarred pasta sauce with some low fat riccota cheese and some mozzerella. Very good. You can eat yogurt as long as it is smooth, no fruit chunks. Cook cauliflower florets in chicken broth until very soft. Mash with a little low fat sour cream and parm.
