  1. Hi, My surgeon and I decided on a different surgery; sleeve gastrecomy. I want to deactivate this acount so I can sign up to their boards/blogs as soon as possible. I contacted customer service but received no reply. I tried setting up a new account on the other boards but it won't allow me to since my email address is already in use with this one. I'd use another email address but the oned I'm using with this board is the one I use most. Can someone please help? Thanks!
  2. Hi, I am new here and won't continue posting much since I will now undergo another type of surgery (sleeve gastrectomy) However, I just have to stress the importance of getting those underarm lumps/lesions cheked out by your PCP or GYN doctor. I lost my mother to breast cancer about 13 years ago and she did first present with underarm lumps (which are swollen lymph nodes) they can also present on your neck and of course your breasts. This is just to make sure there is nothing wrong, I don't mean to scare you. It just sounds odd about the lumps. I wish you well.
  3. Oh, I have Medicare so I'm glad I won't have to do the 6 months. I've already tried the Alli but it didn't work and I only tried it for about 3 months or so. Thanks again everyone
  4. Hi, Me again. I just read about the 6 month diet. Does anyone know if everyone has to go through this?
  5. Hi, I will be having my first visit with the nutritionist and surgeon and will also have a physical done that day, The appointment is in 2 weeks. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Can anyone tell me how long after this first visit it would take for the surgery? I am having the Lap Band done. I've been a little worried because I am thinking about the excess skin once the weight is lost. I have been reading posts here that some people have surgery for this to be removed. I don't know if I'd be able to afford this; I'd probably have to have some kind of payment plan. I know I am getting ahead of myself but I am just thinking and would like some feedback. What should I expect this first visit?
