  1. Yea, thats what i have to get too. My Dr recommends the unjury unflavored to add to the gatorade or whatever....it is VERY expensive though...but its worth it lol I'm so nervous about the endoscopy and the catheter. for some reason im not worried about the after part. just the before and during
  2. I have tons of clothes that dont fit either but they're maybe 30-50 lbs of not fitting size large and xl's that are too tight.....I figure size 11 should be pretty close to where i want to stay. (maybe) i wont know til I get there I guess. I got my list from the Doc of shakes I can use and how often. I made a mistake and ordered the smaller ones, so i have to buy a tub of the powder. I figured the RTD ones would be easier with my crazy hectic schedule so, I'll just use the powder when i'm home and the RTD while im busy. The Vitamins I got, were free lol. My boyfriend runs a Vitamin store . But I got the regular swallow pills instead of liquid of chewable. I hear the chewable calciums are good. and I usually have the gummy vitamins. Has anyone tried the liquid?? I also got gas x strips...and merderma. (for the scars...) a couple light cotton dresses for after surgery. I'll be staying in mytle beach in august so im probably not going to want to wear pants anyway, let alone right after surgery. I bought G2 gatorade for after but....i kinda drank it It was in my car and convient for work so......its pretty much gone. I'm getting so excited watching my ticker go from 6 months, to almost 2 *i changed my date from september so there was a jump from 6 months to 4, ut im already down to 2. * What are you guys most nervous about?
  3. welcome chris and palmetto!!! I'm glad to hear you both had great experience with Dr W. I've only spoken to him on the phone. It makes me feel great to know everyone likes him in person and that he's had great surgeries. Palmetto how much have you lost so far???
  4. Welcome new posters I'm so happy that we have so many august sleevers. We're totally doing this together!!!! Good luck to all , has anyone started buying little things for before/after/during surgery? I got RTD protein shakes for pre op...some vitamins (not sure if i need chewable, liquid or regular....i got regular) ...bought some small divided plates, smaller cups, Goal shorts size 11!

  10. Holy Moly. I've heard about this a few times. Not sure what to do about it. I had this happen with routine labwork with my family doctor. it said i owed 2000, then i called and they lowered it to 300 and some. Hopefully its a big misunderstanding. Makes me glad I didn't use my insurance and did an all inclusive 8000 thing. Let me know what happens, good luck.

  18. How did you guys choose your dr.'s? I see so many dr's in mexico on this forum, how do you pick the one that is right for you???
  19. First of all, isn't that some kind of prejudice, weightism? I would have fought that. Some people just handle the stress better i guess. I blame my busyness a lot ....but its ME that drives through for fast food every day for lunch...sometimes dinner too. I could be smart and get a salad, or pack healthier choices but its not that convenient. Thats a huge fear for me with this. Will I be able to pack a healthier lunch working all these hours? Or am I going to still end up at mcdonalds? I guess we'll just have to promise our selves to do this for us. And keep in touch. its hard being working women! Especially working as many hours as we do.
  20. hi ladies!!! So, I guess I'm first so far! I will keep you posted in this forum....and you can watch my youtube, ill be documenting EVERYTHING!!!!! I'm super nervous but i know its time to start this new chapter in my life. i'm sure you guys feel the same. Are you guys going to be in the same area??? ( i know your not going at the same time but just wondering)

  22. oh gosh. You kinda scared me. I work 80 hours a week and i'm not sure how im going to handle all the stress or working so much, driving so much, relationships, family, all that. I guess i never thought about it. I think the only cure is a vacation every month....yup, thats it. Thats the answer glad i helped , your welcome
