Anything I do lately makes me diarrhea and have severe stomach cramps. Had surgery on the 16th. Was doing great then went back and after doing a barium thing for a ct I literally crapped myself in the hospital yesterday. Wth

Okey folks. Stomach spasms with anything past couple of days. Still on clear liquids. Plus diarrhea hate to admit it. Not eating much and not losing much.

I had surgery on the 16th did great started at 161 now I am at 156. Was in the hospital from Friday to Monday. Came home did great. Ended up back in th hospital Thursday with fever and stomach pain. Have pain now like spasms when I drink and now diarrhea like crazy. Just got back home. Hope it passes!

These posts are cracking me up!! I know I am a week out and wish I were a size 4 already, but since u had a revision to sleeve I might lose slower, but some people are so silly thin after ten days lOl.. I needed a good laugh. I am laid up in the hospital bed with fever and elevated enzymes. Blah

Okay update! No leak!!! I have pancreatitis. It is awful!

I had a revision to sleeve on the 16th. Luckily I used an amazing top Dallas bariatric physician. I too had the ng tube for a couple of days and just that alone slowed my recOvery in the hospital. Soon as that was out I was doing great. Today was my first follow up. Thank God everything looked okay. The only problem I am having is getting my protein and liquids in. I stay so incredibly full. They told me that Sunday I can start full liquids and that I will not feel as full by then that I had a major surgery and there is swelling. I forgot to mention they repaired a hiatal hernia and i think that has made things a little harder. No pain until today. My mother in law told me that her mother always told her that the 7th day after any surgery is the worse. I think I am a believer now haha. I wish you the best of luck and strength. It is wonderful to hear all the stories good or bad. Don't just jump in. I'm glad I ended up not.

I had my revision to sleeve on the 16th I am unable to get all of my fluid in. It takes me nearly four hours to drink half a protein shake and I am beyond full and feel nauseated. I'm scared!! I need to be able to drink without a syringe

I have been having lots of problems standing and just got my band removed and sleeve at the same time. I was told that my doc fixed a hiatal hernia that I had. I have no pain except for the ng tube at the hospital and gas in my shoulder now. It should work out great for you. Good luck!!!! I guess it is common to have a hiatal hernia seem to read it a lot on this forum.

Dallas ft worth area here. I will be going to Houston in June or July for work. Quick question. When you drink do you get full so fast? I am stuffed can't finish right now. I need to lay down I feel exhausted and full to the gills!

No question is stupid! Promise!!! I have already had the band and I still ask questions with this surgery. Knowledge is power and it is a key factor to recovery. Good luck to you!!!

It's because they blow your stomach up with air to expand it to have more room while they are working.

When I had the band I lost slow at first then it came off fast. I'm sure your body is just adjusting. Congrats on the 15 yay!!!! Keep in touch we are basically neck to neck on our dates would be nice to have a sleeve partner. Where were you sleeved?

I have had kidney stones and it sounds like you may have had one. I too have a very bad sharp pain in my left shoulder between my neck. Hurts so bad when I lay down. Other than that it is gone. Oh unless I cough or try to get anything up mucos wise. I think mine is gas. I sure would like to know. It is in the exact same spot every time. Hasn't moved. I have a heating strip on it right now. It's the only thing I take pain medicine for. I feel great every where else.
