  1. There are no stupid questions. You need to allow your food to lie there awhile to keep you full. You should wait 30-40 minutes before drinking.
  2. Good luck and you can do it!! One day @ a time.
  3. Good luck and you can do it!! One day @ a time.
  4. For the first few weeks all that pain is gas. Walk and don't sit too much. If it still continues after that time, then call your Dr. If you need to, Try some form of fiber that you put into a liquid and use as prescribed. Good luck and be patient.
  5. Well good luck! My name is Barbara. I had my lapband done Sept, 2006. I am down 125 lbs and sooo happy. I have a new lease on life and am loving it. My energy levels are soaring and I feel so good about myself. Just remember to eat slowly and chew your food at least 25-30 times. Do not drink, ever, while you are eating. I had a couple of problems for not doing the two things I just stated. Actually this is what you are suppose to do, which I just didn't do. I was in danger of slipping, but thank God I did not and it was rectified. Just remember the do's and don't and you will be fine. Any ?? ask your doctor, because from him you will get it straight. Please keep me up to date as to when your surgery is, etc. Ok. Again I wish you the best.
  6. Hi Sarah, Welcome!! Mistakes are ok as long as you learn from them. I am 5.7 yrs out and have made a couple even being way in. We have been one way for so long, that it just takes some of us longer. (myself included). Glad you are back on track. I had my surgery 5.7 yrs ago and have lost 125 lbs. I am grateful every day for this program, which gave me a new lease on life. My energy levels are soaring and my life has changed so much. Every day I wake up I thank God for where I am today. Take care and great success. Barbara
  7. Hi Brooke33, Welcome! I wish you much success with this program. I had my surgery done in Sept of 2006 and have absolutely no regrets. I am down 125 lbs and still losing. I was 60 yrs old when I had the surgery. It has given me a new lease on life and I feel so blessed and grateful to have found this program. Take care and good luck and do everything your doctor says. It really works, but you have to work it. Barbara
  8. Hi, The bloating is very normal. You were only banded a few days ago. Everything is still swollen, so it will take a little while for the swelling to go down. You MUST drink. THAT IS SO IMPORTANT. Please. If you have any fears, do call your doctor. All this seems normal, but you must drink. Take care and good luck, Barbara
