  1. Oh, my doctor took me off my meds today. I'm on one (very low dose) bp med. It's 5 mg to be exact...so, that's a plus side!!! Sent from my PG86100 using VST
  2. Good luck & keep us posted! Sent from my PG86100 using VST
  3. Congrats & good luck to all who will be sleeved tomorrow!!! Sent from my PG86100 using VST
  4. I explained that the bypass doesn't even require a bmi that high. I also included information about how a bmi of 50 or greater was required when the sleeve was a two part procedure & now it is a stand alone procedure...that was my biggest argument. Now, in my case, I qualified for the band & bypass. So, I'm not sure if that applies to you...good luck! Sent from my PG86100 using VST
  5. I have BCBS of DE. They want individuals to have a BMI of 50 or higher for the sleeve. I had to involve the insurance commissioner. In less than 24 hours, I had an approval. My BMI was 38. I had my procedure done a week ago today. I wish you the best of luck!!! Sent from my PG86100 using VST
  6. I am one week out today. I had buyer's remorse for one day, which was Friday. My problem was adjusting to liquids dropping into my recently cut stomach. I knew that it would be an adjustment, but I needed support from my veteran sleevers. I really hope that my update wasn't one of the ones that scared you. If so, I sincerely apologize. You see, at this point, I already know that I would have this surgery all over again if necessary. Just an fyi, I was walking up and down my stairs when I returned home. I didn't have any pain after leaving the hospital. Discomfort, yes...pain, no. Anyway, I hope that my $0.02 helps...good luck!!! Sent from my PG86100 using VST
  7. I'm sending a prayer your way...you will be fine!
  8. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc over here...hello ladies!!!
  9. Wow...I'm impressed!!! Congrats!!! And, in my opinion, everyone should love to shop! Little Bits
  10. Thanks Chuckles. Please don't let my experience scare you. In actuality, things could be a lot worse. I did have major surgery...good luck & keep me posted. Little Bits
  11. I will. I can't update from my phone. So, I just have to stop being lazy & grab my laptop. Thanks for the encouragement!!! How are you feeling??? Little Bits
  12. Thanks, I actually got on the scale last night. (I was planning on doing a YouTUBE update...maybe today.) Anyway, as of last night, I am down to 200.2 lbs! Yay!!! Little Bits
  13. I keep getting this growling sensation after drinking large amounts of liquids. It's internal, because no one else can hear it, but it feels very uncomfortable. I also struggle with the feeling that I get as liquids drop into my sleeve. It reminds me of a roof leaking and the water plopping into a bucket...ewww. That's the only way that I can describe it... Anyway, there isn't any pain...just extreme discomfort. At first, I dreaded drinking fluids but I'm getting better with it. Little Bits
  14. Dadto2, I was just thinking about making my next vlog. I might do it today. On another note, I weighed myself on Thursday & I was down a total of 10.5 lbs. I am trying not to weigh myself again until I make a new vlog. However, I will admit that the curiosity is killing me. Smh Little Bits
  15. Kathy, you are such a sweetheart. Thanks for always checking on me. Yes, I'm in a better place now. I can't wait to get back to feeling like my old self. Little Bits
  16. How are all of my June 19th sleevers doing? I started off a little rocky, but it seems to get a little better each day... Little Bits
  17. I'll say a prayer for you as well! I was very overwhelmed yesterday, but I felt better this morning. I think that things will get a little better each day... Good luck! Little Bits
  18. Good luck to all who will be sleeved this week! Little Bits
  19. It was the office manager. She was horrible. Thankfully, she's not there anymore! Little Bits
  20. I'm sorry to hear that. My doctor's office manager refused to submit my paperwork. I got the insurance commissioner involved, because she was refusing to cooperate with me. Good luck & I'm sorry that you have been going through this!!! Little Bits
  21. Thanks, I just called the Vitamin Shoppe & they are willing to swap out my chewables for liquids and/or gummies. Little Bits
