Those things taste like liquid meat! The only way u can even tolerate those is ICE cold...

I'm present and accounted for! Will be sleeved by Dr. Aceves on April 12th... My countdown has begun and I start my pre-op diet in about 3 weeks... Congrats to those that are well into their journey and prayers for those just starting!

Guys I am new to this all as well. I will be getting sleeved by Dr. A in Mexicali on April 12th. I think a lot of us are in the same boat (or were) at some point. I'm 6'-2" and 340 and I have a wide frame. Honestly one of the things I look most forward to is being able to walk into a restaurant and not have to say "table" when they ask if I want a booth! You know when u walk in and your glancing at the booths to see if u can actually stuff yourself in it?

I will arrive on the 11th and surgery on the 12th! I'm soooo ready to get this going and a fresh start myself...

OMG!...Love me some grits... Raised in L.A. (Lower Alabama of course) and grits have been a staple of mine for years. Great to know for the future that these are plenty acceptable... I won't be sleeved till April, but I'm keeping a journal...
