  1. Ent out to the east coast last week and I saw this...a seatbelt with an extra 8 or 9 inches. When did they lengthen them?...lol. I almost needed and extension the last time I got on a plane so this is a major deal for me.
  2. I went to a company site today which I had not been to in about two years. I worked here in Baltimore for about four years from 2000 - 2004. I was showered with OMG's and awesome compliments all day. I even got a "damn, you got hot.". I walked out of there today with a beaming smile and a new cofidence. It was awesome to see these women completely change the way they interacted with me....it was awesome. I even got a "you look 5 years younger"....so I I'd the math and if I left in 2004 and I'm 41 now...I'm claiming 28...yeah that's it.
  3. I am Iron man....lol
  4. I'm 6 weeks out today and down 58 pounds. My NSV for yesterday was a surprise encore performance last night within minutes of the main performance. Maybe there is something to this testosterone thing? I have always been sorta up for around two....but only after a snack and an hours rest...lol. This was like being 21 again...daddy's back!
  5. Same here...day 11... It helps the energy.
  6. Ok...are any of u convinced to drop te fancy text?
  7. Pink IS my favorite color....in the immortal words of Steven Tyler and Aerosmith.
  8. Does anyone else find that text super hard to read? It may be because I'm on an ipad.
  9. Hello everyone. My name is Chris and I am from Fenton, mi (north Detroit). I was sleeved on 3/05 by Dr.Ali Elhorr of Dearborn Bariatrics. I am 41 years old and have been married to my wife Betsy for almost 18 years. She is being sleeved on 3/21 and we are going to do this together. I have lost 31 pounds since the first of February and I feel great. I do seem to get "hungry" later in the day. However, I am learning to deal with that via luigis Italian ice (lol). We were talking about our vacation in July this year and thinking about Yellowstone Park. All of a sudden I thought of the things we will be able to do tis year, that in years past, we would not have considered... White Water rafting Zip lines Water parks Mountain hiking Biking Horseback riding Kayaking It has made me realize how much of our lives we have wasted "sitting on the porch" watching the world go by.
  10. I'm new, sleeved on 3/05/2012, but I found mixing in some decaf coffee into a vanilla or chocolate shake really masks the "protein flavor / smell". I really like the cafe Carmel Atkins advantage shake which I believe is caffeine free.
  11. Thanks for the replies. I too think bedhead hit the nail on the head. Does anyone know the stats on men versus women electing this surgery?
  12. I have been lurking since January and I am scheduled for surgery on march 5th. I have been reading and trying to figure ut the post op process and it seems that men handle the recovery process better? I'm not saying we are stronger or mentally more capable to handle the process. I am just saying that I have not seen any of the "regret phase" or pain and sickness posts from any guys. Do you think there is anything to this?
