  1. Thank you so much. I really feel like crying. I am drinking a lot if water the past couple of days hoping to flush my system. Thank u for your support.
  2. Thank u for your input. I was thinking maybe water weight but thats still a lot. I guess i'll be calling the surgeon.
  3. I was doing so well until last week. Had my surgery 3/9 and got down to 239 from 298 pre op. Last week my husbands kid and grand kids visited. We went out to eat all week. I ate mainly chicken and have learned what getting full feels like. Threw a lot of food away. I was under a lot of stress and not journaling but cant believe a gain of 10 lbs. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advise is greatly appreciated.
  4. I know this is unusually high number and not to expect it again. I'm really ready to enjoy this journey and watch the weight come down.
  5.    WhoozisAnyway reacted to a post in a topic: Is There A Cheering Section Near By?
  6. I told my doc pre op that I wanted to be his very best patient and do everything he told me to do. So far the only thing I haven't been able to do is get all my protein in.
  7. Omg. May I ask how tall you are?
  8. Start of program 298 Pre op. 271 8th day post op 247 OMG!!! I'm so happy. The only problem I'd been having is getting Protein in. I asked my doc today if I could start eating soft eggs and he gave me the ok. Just not to overfill my stomach. I had my first egg after my appt and I'm soooo excited. I hope that you all can feel the joy in my heart right now for yourselves. Wishing everyone the very best. My screen name is 1 bumblebee. But I would love for all of you to know...I go by MeeMee.
  9. Hey time for me now. I am 8 days post op and I haven't weighed myself yet. I hope I'm as successful as you. Congrats. I'm waiting for my post op appt.
  10. Before my surgery I frankly asked my nutritionist which was more important...protein or water. She said water. I have an aversion to most dairy products. I tried all kinds of protein powders and so I stick with Isopure and water. I do feel lethargic throughout the day so I'm trying hard to focus on all the other things. Supplemental vitamins, water and sf pudding. That's about it.
  11. I am also having this problem. What I have found that helps is warm broth and walking when drinking water. Seems to move the gas around.
  12. Sorry hit the button to soon. 6 days post op and no movement. For someone who was always regular, 5 days (even if not much is in there) feels very uncomfortable.
  13. I posted the same question in the post op section and was told that milk of magnesia would do the trick. I'm going to buy some today cuz I am 6 days post op and
  14. Yay! Can't wait....cream soups tomorrow.
