  1. I will keep you posted. My surgeon's office is going to work with me to find a new PCP. You might ask your surgeon about it. Good luck!
  2. Thanks for all of the encouragement. My date is set for March 21st. I met my surgeon last week and he seems really nice and knowledgeable.
  3. Hi all, I am supposed to be banded next month in Fort Worth (self-pay). However, I live in Midland, TX. I currently have a primary care physician, but he is not a big fan of weight loss surgery of any kind, so I am looking to switch to a Dr. that has more experience with banded patients. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
  4. Hi all, Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I am 28 years old and live in Midland, TX. I am going to my pre-op appointment tomorrow with Dr. Adam Smith in Fort Worth, and I am supposed to get banded next month (self-pay). I have been overweight most of my life, but have really put on the weight since I stopped playing football in high school. I am looking forward to a new life and being healthy to spend time with my wife and future children. Anyhow, I have been lurking for a while, but I will try to start interacting with the forum. Looking forward to talking to several of you.
