  1. Holly Dolly, Do you have discomfort when you gurgle? I have discomfort (almost pain) when I try to get food down.
  2. Just got my 3rd fill on Friday .5 cc. I have total fill of 3.5 cc in a 10cc band. I am gurgling with everything I eat and drink. I also have a bad sinus infection. I'm wondering if I'm too tight or if the sinus drainage is causing the gurgling?
  3. I know 15 pounds lost is good. My main concern is that I have only lost 2 pounds in 2 months since surgery.
  4. I've not been tracking consistently, but when I do it's around 1,000-1,200 a day.
  5. I was banded on 2/16/12. My starting weight (pre-op) was 207. I lost 13 pounds during the liquid diet phase. I have only lost 2 pounds since surgery. I've had 2 fills in a 10cc band. The first fill was 2cc and the second fill was 1cc. (The nurse put 2cc in during the second fill but had to take 1cc out because I couldn't swallow Water.) I know this is a slow process, but really think I should see more results by now. I'm eating about half of what I was, and meeting my Protein requirements. I try to exercise at least 3 days a week and walk 2-3 miles each day. Please help I'm getting extremely frustrated!
  6. Hi all! I am on my 3rd day of full liquid diet, taking in approximately 600 calories a day. I don't really have the energy to exercise, but was wondering if any surgeons encouraged or discouraged exercise during this phase?
