So sorry you are feeling so stressed...but I to bet you are doing alot more worrying then you need to. Yes fat people are judged and treated differantly by many...I look at that as it is their lost not mine I am the same girl I have always been just a lot happyier on the inside now...not just smiling to make people think Im happy... God has plans for all of us....and remember if He takes you to it....He will take you through it...

I was where you are too....and I was so upset...but like everyone told me just wait it out....and the scale will start moving soon....try to focus on the nsv...my pants were all getting baggy on me and the scale was the same.....Its moving now !!! and yours will too !

greek yogurt ... low fat string cheese...and what ever fish is on sale...OOoo and lots of salad..

I like to walk while my sons are playing baseball at the park...so I listen to kids playing and the sounds of nature....

welcome Molly.. i to had my first fill on april 5th.. 6 ccs....i can still eat a large portion but im making sure its salads or some other good choice...i dont feel any restriction...though Easter dinner with ham i did get a horrable pain in my chest.I went to the bathroom and hung out till it passed....but for the most part...i can eat anything still. Good Luck...and ~hug~

yea for me...good food choices today...came in from church and out of habit I grabbed a box of crackers from the pantry.Then i was like...woooo and put it back ,grabbed a cheese stick !

hello....I too worried lots just before surgery....but all for nothing...i stayed in the hospital one night and at home had maybe 3 days of being uncomfy....but that was all....had my first fill this week and feeling better then I have in 15 years !!! Good Luck

sorry you had such pain...I have read on here when others have stuck issues they go back to soft foods for a day or so to let swelling go down...hope your feeling better...

When I started all this 7 months ago I couldnt even walk to the end of my driveway to check my mail.....today I can and enjoy walking.....At first I had to do it first thing in the morning so I couldnt talk myself out of it......now I do it as soon as Im done with lunch and dinner if able....and it alsos feels so good after.....makes me happy !

First fill tomorrow....Im so excited to feel some restriction.... I have been making good food choices but portions bigger then they should be....

Dont get down on yourself...I to was banded on 2/22 and i have walked every day watched what Im eatting and only 3 lbs down since surgery....I will get my first fill on Thursday so Im hopefull that will kick start my scale again !! I bet you will too...

oh I do understand you not wanting to tell any one...the last thing we need is neg soap box speeches..... But Id be worryed not having at least one family/friend not knowing or being there for you.Where you are from do they have a local support group...where you live do they have a local support group...that would be helpful...Good Luck and were all here for you
