  1. Good luck Talk Teacher and every one else due this week for their banding!! High Protein diet is hard but I am sticking with it. Thanks to everyone who makes me smile with their postings!!
  2. Got my surgery time today---9:45 am. Not too bad! I decided to go home, nothing like the comfort of your own bed. So unless there is complications....I am to go for 2/29/12 at 9:45 am and home same day!! First day of protein shakes, frankly I am shocked that I am not hungry to "chew" or eat. I am using Atkins Advantage---dark chocolate is very yummy especially when almost frozen. Not using a straw is difficult for me because I have to drink it cold but my teeth are so sensitive lol. I am being optimistic (a novelty for me) and going with the flow here!! Thanks to all who write and make me smile with hope throughout my day!!!

  6. I go between nervous and excited. I start the pre-op diet tomorrow too but I have mixed in the protein drinks since last Friday to get use to them. They are so sweet and thick...gag me!! But I found the adkins ones taste ok and aren't so damn thick lol. I am not a sweet eater. more a sandwich eater lol. Good luck to everyone and especially us Leap Year banders!!

  9. Oh Will...you give me hope!! I go into surgery on 2/29 and I am so worried about being able to return to work on Monday 3/5---if you feel that good after 48 hours...I hope I do too!! Good Luck to you!!
  10. Oh my Greekie... You hae me nervous lol. I am scheduled for 2/29/2012 and I only took off from work until March 5!! My doctor thinks I should be fine but I am a wreak about the "pain". Besides the gas...what pain issues am I facing?? I know everyone is different but lordy, lordy I don't pain very well. Tammy

  14. Hi all, I am ready to be banded...surgery date is 2/29/2012. I am ready for the Leap lol. Nervous too. I am in Tampa, FL. Dr. Dietrick is doing my surgery. I am not sure how to connect a ticker tape with all my stats or where my profile is on this site but I will learn.
