  1. I got mine in less than 18 hours after it was faxed over to BCBS this was about 2 months or less ago. I live in Illinois. My best advice is to call them! Call them, and of course call them! I called them at least twice between those few hours to make sure that they got everything that was needed. My surgery day is set for tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. and I am soooo happy / nervous / omg it is finally here!

  3. I will be banded on March 14 at 7:30 a.m. at Central DuPage Hospital. I cannot wait, I have started the pre op diet and I am only down 7 lbs though. So a week from yesterday is the day! I am so excited and happy and kinda like ahhh! It is finally happening. I was approved by BCBS in less than 24 hours. I am only 23 years old as well, so we thought that was going to be an issue. I wonder how much weight I will lose in the first month...hmmm only time will tell. Wish me luck!
