I am really getting discouraged. I have only lost 20lbs and I need to lose 60 more. I was banded Feb 2, 2012. I have had 6 fills and I need another one. Will I ever find the green zone. How will I know its the green zone. I can still eat anything I want and as much as I want. Am I doing something wrong? I need help.

I am not losing very fast at all. Banded on Feb 2, 2012 and I have only lost 20 lbs. I know I am eating to much, but I am hungry. I have had 6 fills and my next fill is the June 26th. I hope I find the green zone soon. A few people know that I have a lapband and I feel they are looking for a big weight lose ever time the see me. I am starting to feel like I am failing at this too. I want to lose this weight and feel good about myself.

You should be starving no more than you are eating. you need to add some Protein and make sure you are taking your Vitamins.

What's his phone number? I would like to talk to them about doing my fills. Do you what the cost of fills are?

why are you having it removed? I had my put in Feb 2, 2012. I hope to have my forever. Are you having trouble?

That great to hear. I did not not there was available in Russellville. I live in Russellville, but I travel to Little Rock to get my fills. Where will you go to get your fills? Are fills available in Russellville? This would save me some time and travel money.

I had a hiatal repaired during my surgery as well. I did not know I had one. My doctor told me before I had the surgery that if I had a hernia it would have to be repaired while he was doing my lapband surgery. I was very tender for a couple of weeks, but all is well know. I had a lot of heartburn before I had my surgery which was caused by the hernia. I have not had the 1st case of heartburn since I had my surgery.

I was banded Feb 2, 2012 by Dr. Wellborn in Little Rock. I have only lost 20 lbs so far. I really wanted to have lost at least 30-40 lbs by now. I have a 10cc band with 6.2cc so far after 6 fills. I go back the end of June for another fill. I hope this one gets me to the "green zone".

I would like to find someone from Arkansas who has been banded. Who was your surgeon? Are you happy with your follow-up care and Fills?

I was banded on Feb 2, 2012. I missed my Vitamins alot at first. But I started losing my Hair!!. I don't miss them now. Take your Vitamins!!

I have gotten two different answers from staff at my drs. office about drinking diet coke. My Dr. said it was ok during my pre-band apt. His nurses tell me that is a no, no. I do drink diet coke since having lapband. Does anyone else? If not what were you told about it. I need more information about this.

I got my 6th fill yesterday. Tonight I was able to eat a turkey burger with veggies. No bread. Is this ok? How long should I wait before eating solid food after getting a fill? I am at 6.2cc in a 10 cc band. Very little restriction. No weight loss in the past month. I am ready to lose some pounds. What I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the replies. I haven't told anyone that I had the surgery, so I don't have anyone that I can talk to about this. I go back on June 4th for my next fill, and I sure hope I find the "green zone". I really thought my last fill was what I was looking for, but a day after, I knew I was not there yet.

I was banded on Feb 2, 2012. I have lost lost 20 lbs. Most of that was lost in the two weeks after surgery. I have had 5 fills, total of 5.5 in a 10cc band. I can eat whatever I want and I think I am eating to much. Should I not have lost more by know and why am I not having trouble eating anything yet. How can I know for sure how much they are putting in my band. Do I really have 5.5cc in my band? Does anyone else wonder the same?

I get my 1st fill tomorrow. I don't know what size band I have so I am excited to find out the size and the amount of fill I will get. I hope I can tell the difference. Right now I can eat anything. Good Luck Thursday....

I to am 12 days post op. I am able to eat just about anything again. Should I be? Should I only be drinking liquids and very soft stuff? I go back a my 2 week checkin in two days. I don't want to mess up.

I will have my 2 week post-op appointment in two days. How much should I be able to eat at this time? I am getting hungry. I am afraid I am eating to much?
