  1. Hi everyone, I had my 2nd fill on Thursday 2/16 and really needed it since I had hardly any restriction and could eat whatever I wanted. I had my surgery 11-2-11 and was weighing in at 287, my first fill was 12-29-11 and weighed in at 271 when I went to get my 2nd fill I was nervous because I really didn't feel like it was working even my son said to me "Mom I don't think the lap band is working for you since you eat alot still". Well I went in for the much needed fill and lost 9lbs?????? I was in shock how can that be I asked and the dr. told me your doing good 1-2lbs a week is right on track. I will let you know in about a week how it's going.
  2. Well here Iam11 weeks post op thinking that i'm all alone.does anyone else feel this way???? When I got my first fill I have very little restriction in other words I can still drink my diet coke, eat more than i thought I would be able too. The only thing that i really don't eat anymore is bread and tortillas. I have cravings for sweets like ice cream and sweets. I have my next fill on Feb 19 so wish me luck
