    Having my first surgery on March 31st. I spent lots of time thinking if I should go for lapband or for sleeve. Lots of people advised me not to go for the band, so I finally decided to go for the sleeve. Wish you all the best in your journey.

    I've been heavy most of my life! I've tried so many things to lose weight but none worked out. So I finally decided to have a surgery, I was going back-and-forth between Lapband and gastric sleeve but finally I decided to go along with the sleeve. I'm not getting any younger will be 27 in April and I want to live my life in a healthy way. My surgery is scheduled for March 31st (exactly 5 days from today) and I am both excited and nervous!!! Looking for some encouragement during this time, anyone else doing the surgery on 31st of March? Any advice from people who have already had the surgery? Wish me luck
