Hi Lori what a small world my Dr is Menachery and he was/is great he did my surgery on Feb 22/07 with Dr Steinberg at Deklab Medical Center the the whole experience from start to finish was excellent he answered all my questions the staff is great Dr Steinbery/Dr Menachery is a great team the best to work with I highly reccomend them

I dont know how I feel about the weight loss Wheetsin some days I feel great other days not so great I guess with everything on my plate the bad out weighs the good..My daughter does not have a job as yet so she is busting my budget as for the pink elephant in the room comment that thats my DH saying when he dont want to call me fat. he will say their is a pink elephant in the room.

Be careful what you wish for....I had my third fill last friday and I think he put in too much and now I think I am too tight I can hardly keep anything down a couple bite and it is stuck I have been living on water/shake/soup for a week now. I tried to eat a boiled egg this morning and it was hell...I am going to give it a few more days and then go in for a unfill...it is not a pleasent feeling to be so tight everything hurts your chest,stomach and the huge lump in your stoma, the acid reflux. I would rather stick with the small fill untill I hit my sweet spot instead of being too tight from over fill

I get my fills at deklab medical center I dont know where in GA you are located by IM me and I will give you his name and number also I would love to ask you some questions about being a long time bandster

congrat way to go well done......I am so proud of you hopefully I can say the same thing when I get to my one year anniversity I have been slow to lose weight but I am keeping at it.

I am also in GA(atlanta) good luck with you journey if have any questions IM me I will be more than happy to answer. I had my surgery feb 22 and so far so good the weight loss has been slow but that OK slow for good I say as long as it keep coming off..

don't feel like the lone ranger. I had my 2nd fill on friday and my first fill was 1.3cc and I had less that .5cc this last time my dr thinks I might have a leak but he said sometime the first fill get absorb by the body so this time he put in 3.2cc I can feel alot of restriction now but that was the case with this first fill and after a week nothing give it time I am keep my finger cross for both of us

I also had my second fill today 3.2cc and I had to force him to give me that much I had my first fill of 1.3cc and have not had any restrictions since april 2 I am hoping this will do the trick I can eat whatever I want with no problem I am desprate to get to my sweet spot I have not loss any weight since my first fill and I am getting really depress about it

Karen I am sooooo sorry to hear you are having problems my prayers are with you and your family it's one thing for a member of the family to be sick but both you and your DH and unemployed as well is so much for you to handle but rest assured your lap band family is praying for you here to a speedy recovery keep us posted plenty of hugs:girl_hug: :) :woot: :bananalama: :bananajump:

Two months to the day I was banded I had my first PB:hungry: OH MY GOD THE AGONY THE PAIN THE EMBARRASSMENT:faint: and it happen in a restaurant on a salad of all things it went down and turn around at the same time by the time I got to the bathroom door salad was everywhere the poor little girl that was in front of me went running out My family had to pack their dinner to go and before we could get half way home my poor DH and to pull off the freeway so I could go at it again. My stomach hurt so bad the next few days So no more salad for me. Here is my list of things I can't eat and growing SALAD CARROT AND CARROT JUICE SHRIMP CRAB PASTA RICE
