  1. I was sleeved on the 16th and have not been hungry at all. I eat because I have to eat, but could probably not eat at all for awhile (not good). The funny thing is that I have watched more than my fair share of cooking shows with my wife since being sleeved. It doesn't bother me at all. Good luck to you in your journey.
  2. Yes, I was given prescriptions for meds. Liquid Hydrocodone, some type of blood thinner already in syringes, and anti-nausea tablet that I put under my tounge. I'm sure everything will get better (hopefully sooner than later). I took my first 30 minute walk today and that took a lot out of me. Trying to keep myself hydrated. Looking forward to the future.
  3. Well Im back home right now. My DR said that the surgery went well. First day in the hospital all I wanted to do was sleep. I was up every hour and peeing like crazy. Leak test went fine. Was released from the hospital yesterday. The hardest thing I have encountered so far is trying to get the liquids.I have also had headaches like crazy. Couldn't sleep in my own bed last night so I slept in my living room. Nausea is killing me and I have had this pain in the center of my chest that will not go away. The doctor said that the upper portion of the stomach will spasm. Fortunately he prescribed something that help with that. Im hoping that things will start going back to normal over the next few days or so.
  4. Hello, long time lurker here. I'm less than 9 hours out (7:30 Mon). Kinda scared, but looking beyond the surgery. I just wish this was over with.
  5. I think everyone would have a little bit of panic. I'm less than 9 hours away from my surgery and it's all I can think about. I spent the day cleaning to keep my mind off of it. Good luck to you.
