After my clearance appt. it was 1 week. the office called and made an appt with the dr. peters. Then once the ins was approved i was called to sch surgery. My ins was approved right before christmas on the 23rd.

Dr. Peters is doing my vgs. Surgery is Jan 12 and I am on the protein shakes now day 4. lol I have waited a long time for this.

Jan. 12 so excited and nervous. I have been trying for 2 yrs. Finally it is all working out.

I'm on day 4. First day was horrible. I am also working through it. We have all come to far to mess up. My surgery is Jan 12/

I'm on my 3 rd day of opti fast. The premix is alot better than the powdered, I have the vanilla and strawberry. First day was rough. Yesterday was a little easier. Lol. My surgery is sch for Jan 12

It was the same doctors office that told me in the beginning that all was covered but my co pay and then 4 days before they called and said it wasnt.

I started my journey in Sept. went to my first visit to surgeon after seminor. The very first visit they called my insurance co and they said it was covered except for 1000.00. So i started making appt with other doctors so i could have my surgery. Did my nutrition classes and all appts the doctors office sch my lapband and 4 days before my surgery they called me and said that the lapband is excluded from my policy. i have talked to the ins co nothing i can do. I have spent alot of money on the other appts that are required for the lapband missed alot of time from work unpaid. I have wrote a letter to the doctors office with no response. I have talked to one of the girls at the office but it didnt get me anywhere. Don't know if there is anything else i can do. It stinks have been so upset about this whole thing. Michele
