Thanks B you have been an inspiration on this site. I may have Mis spoke the gallon of Water I was speaking if was to eliminate the reflux I had before the band. I currently do not drink while I eat until an hour or so after the meal

I chew and sip slowly. One of my recent favs today was baby food . I had a jar of organic butternut squash with cinomen it was to die for. Tomorrow it's corn purée

So I'm six days post band and I have tried all of the liquids and shakes. I am down about 8 pounds. The other day I had a bowl of spaghetti sauce for dinner. Now pre band I would have had a gallon of Water an an hour of reflux and pain. I had none and was so happy ! That being said I know we are all different but I was wondering if there were particular foods that you tend to stay away from now that you are banded ? Also are there any foods that you are surprised that you have fallen in love with ?

I had baby food squash for lunch woot woot lol

What soft food have you tried? I was banded on 2/27 and feel great. I have tried jello, cream soup and spaghetti sauce all went well but im looking to add some substance.

I also had my surgery on 2/27"feel great! I'm down 5 pounds and could go for a sandwich now lol

When did you go back to driving ? When did the pain go away?

Looking forward to going home this afternoon. So far this has been a pleasant experience this site has really helped

No gas pain I'm At the hospital til Tuesday afternoon I can believe its finally in me.....seems like it took forever

I made it ....a breeze

Surgery in the morning...Id be lying if i said I wasn't a little bit nervous. But overall excited and ready to go!

I'm from western ny also having my band out in on February 27 by dr hoffman
