  1. On Monday, I received a 1cc fill for a total of 6.5cc in my 10cc band. I am debating whether to return and get a little withdrawn. I am having an terrible time eating. Everything hurts. I have a 2 week window to return for an adjustment without an additional cost. I followed orders and was on liquids for 2 days. How long should I wait for my body to adjust? Suggestions, comments?

  3. I used to struggle with the same thing. I bought a stationary bike and use it in the mornings. No way could I talk myself into exercising after a 12 hr day. I use 5 hr energy every morning instead of coffee. Love it and no jitters.
  4. MFP takes into consideration your current weight. Most equipment at the gym doesn't. Truth is the more you weigh the more fuel your body most use to move your body. As your weight decreases so will your calories burned during exercises!

  6. I do not get any pain but I do get a tightness in my chest at about a cup of food. When the tightness is in my back I have overdone it. This has only happened a couple of times.
  7. I do the gummies. B complex Multivitamin Calcium Omega 3s Fiber And then biotin.
  8. I was banded on 3/16. I have had 2 fills already and scheduled for my third on 6/18. I exercise 6 days a week attempting to burn at least 250 calories each day. I measure everything. I use myfitnesspal to track my intake, exercise and progress.
  9. The supervised diet requirement was lifted Feb 1st. I had my surgery March 16th at DayOne Health in Chicago.
  10. Please read this before buying. http://healthfraudoz.blogspot.com/2006/11/critique-of-isagenix.html
  11. Always. The difference now is it is a temporary feeling and doesn't send me into a three day feeding frenzy. I add additional exercise for a few days and keeping moving forward. Deprevation is not my idea of living. The lapband reminds me when enough is enough.
  12. I was banded on March 16th. I lost weight the first week but have been static the last 2 weeks. Just be patient. This is a journey not a race. Don't worry what others do or say this is for you! By the way, I stepped on the scale this morning and lost 1.5 lbs. Patience prevailed!
  13. I was banded yesterday. My surgery was only 30 minutes. I always have a problem with anesthesia so yesterday sucked. I simply couldn't wake up. Pain and nausea kicked my butt. My surgery was scheduled for 2:30p. I had to be there at 1p. Nothing by mouth since the night bfore was the worse thing. The doctor was late so I was wheeled in at 3:15. I was on my way home by 6:50. I got home just before 8pm. Took my Gas X and my liquid Vicodin and went to bed. Holding a pillow against my abdomen while I slept with a pillow between my knees made me comfortable and I was able to sleep for nearly 7 hours. This morning I feel much better. No longer cloudy and I am moving around better. My abdomen still hurts but is tolerable.
  14. I from the far south suburbs. De Ellis did my surgery yesterday.

I will be thinking of you on Monday.
  16. I have just been banded but I use one every day. It is my source of "get up and go"
