My approval was so fast!!! Barely 1 week I swear so thankful for this. I have no pre existing clauses no requirements. Excited finally gonna have my surgery

I don't remember he was old and had white and grey hair lol. That appointment was 2 hrs long the test itself was an 1 1/2 long so be ready. Dr. Baker is a great Dr too you will not regret it. I had to be on the 6 month diet too it went by pretty quick my surgery is on the 29th.

I feel a lot better knowing what to expect!!! Do you have to pay anything out of pocket at Baptist? I'm having to pay 1700 but that's my co insurance :/ Thanks

Awesome thread Hispanic here. I was worried about the food as well I'm getting nervous too. I'm worried about the heartburn,spices,chili powder and tortillas. Aahhhh

The worst has crossed my mind as well glad that its normal. Me and my husband have been talking alot about this lately. I have to make sure that we are on the same page before I go through with this. He totally supports it and sees the outcome can benefit both of us. My husband is fit just diabetic but tall and slim and their is things that I can't do with him that I would love to do. He is also a nature outdoor body and I would love to go canoeing but I just feel that Iam way to big for that.

How long is everyone diet plan before surgery? I was told that I will be on shakes for 2 weeks prior. When Is your next dr appt before surgery?

Mines on the 29th of October but I swear time is passing by so fast!!! It will be here before you know it.

I had to go through something similar with the advocate dept at my job too. I work for a catholic hospital and they did not want to cover the sleeve what so ever but we finally got everything together and they approved me. So grateful for the advocacy dept.

My surgeon required a psych eval,upper gi,colonoscopy, and blood work. My insurance was the one that required the 6 month diet program.
