Yea v8 splash, I'm ok now and been bumped up to purée

Went to my 1week Post-Op appt.. Was 271 October 1 and now I'm 260... But good thing is I can start purée today!! He said everything looks great!!!

Yea day 5.. My husband keeps making me try and drink cuz I feel weak, dizzy and some nausea and I feel like I've been kicked by a damn horse again!!!

I'm drinking water, broth, v8 fruit juice,protein juice, apple juice. I just can't seem to drink much!

I'm taking very small sips just like my dr told me to do, I just can't seem to drink much! But I'm thirsty!

I'm really struggling getting my protein and fluids in... I'm suppose to have like 60g of protein and 48oz of liquids and I only can get in 2 oz so far today yesterday I did get 20 but I don't know what to do!

I'm doing good, I am 36lbs down now

Just checking in, today is day 4 post-op and it was a little better, I get a ly of pain when I stand if I've been sitting. It gets a little to get out of bed and stuff, but getting better. Day of surgery I was 267 and today I am 264. Wish it was more but taking it A day at a time! my pain meds are the worse I actually dread taking them they are nasty but numbs the pain a lot I still get nausea here and there. But hopefully I'll check in tomorrow and I'm better than today!

Every time I drink my stomach growls and feels like its contracting! It hurts really bad and makes me not want to drink but I have to too, does anyone else experience this?!?!

I know this is TMI but since I had surgery Tuesday I couldn't release gas or make a bowel movement, as of today I haven't stopped! I'm so gassy and so much diarrhea! My stomach is constantly gurgling and rumbling lol! It's annoying! How long do u think this will take place! I'd like to sleep tonight! :/

Sorry came home today and was 266.4 but I know I'm swallow a lot more... But hey I'm going down then up

Well HW was 300.....weight day of surgery was 267.4 came home today

I just had surgery Tuesday night and my incisions are already itchy, is that common? And what does it mean that their itchy? Im not itching them..

Got back from my CT scan haven't heard anything yet, I have a 101 fever sight hbp and nauseated I asked for pain meds still nothing I wanna sleep

So here's the deal, they are going to keep me another night, and he's gonna order a cat scan to check or blood clots, a d keep my hydrated through IV

I'm suppose to go home today but i honestly don't honk I will, I'm in more pain than I was yesterday, the gas and all the pain is horrible and to go home I gotta be off the narcotic and be on loratab liquid n I'm still on both, the gas just won't break up! But I'm just so weak n in pain that I wanna stay an get better!! Who knows I just don't wanna get home n something happens when I get hone!! I'll keep everyone updated!

I have no drains at all, I'm walking, coughing ad using the blue suck in thingy, the pain is so going through my whole right side when I breathe in, it's horrific! It's not that I have a problem drinking I can drink its just it hurts when I do, if that makes since, they Hear my stomach they hear a little bit of stuff but not much, whatever that means they didn't tell me what they heard, I'm still on dalatid and loratab liquid for me to go home I gotta be off the dalatid totally but I get so uncomfortable and hurting that the dalatid is what keeps me comfortable ad helps me sleep! I don't know what's going to happen today I'm honestly not ready to go home but it's all up to the nurse, and I just want something to help with the gas!!!!

5am- got really uncomfortable!!the gas seems to be trapped in my belly and won't come out, it's actually bothering me to drink. I tried to walk again and nothing! Gonna lay back down and get pain meds!

I have blood in my nose too! The nurse just came in my room, my oxygen level dropped, so she ha me take deep breathes and put the mask on!
