  2.    Cazzy reacted to a post in a topic: Hard Lump
  3. That's your port buddy. Leave it alone!
  4. Do not be worried. I was banded in December I had my 3rd fill last week and honestly until this 3rd fill I wasnt feeling that much restriction ... but trust me its slow and steady step by step. You will get there!
  5. collar bone usually starts to hurt!
  6. JennyBee hit it on the mark ... i have been loving me some rice pudding lately (i know this wont work for some people) trader joes has a lot of great band friendly items if you have one near by.
  7. the band should be doing that. you may want to do some reading on how it all works or talk to your doctor.
  8. Post op almost any of the restriction you are feeling is from the surgery and swelling... so its expected the more you heal the more you'll be able to eat. I wasnt allowed to be eating soft food until 4 wks after surgery but i felt the same things ... you will get your first fill and it wont make much a diff, then your 2nd and you'll feel the band restriction and if you are lucky by 3 or 4 fills start to understand what works for you. it doesnt work over night ... dont sweat what you are feeling just stick to your docs plan and bug them if you are really concerned ... you are their customer
  9. walk ! gas ex didnt help... it will just go away mine took a couple weeks.
  10. Does no one get bothered by the fact that they are removing part of your stomach in the sleeve? Doesnt that make you nervous at all?
  11. ps im in NJ also if you need any recommediations!
  12. Mine got a bit irritated after surgery also (Mine was in December) I am not as sensitive to the scaring (maybe its because im a guy) but I did use some ointment and then followed it up with Maderma and the scars arent that bad at all! Good luck!!! This board has been awsome just keep in mind ask anything they are usually right.
  13. Why go through that? How much more weight is there to lose wouldnt it be worth just trying to kick your own butt and lose whats left with out going through the cost. hassle, and risk of surgey?
  14. So I was right! I was miserable last night -- i couldnt even keep down water. So i called the doc this am and they had me come over ... he confirmed def over fllled. Hardly anything was moving through the pouch ... he took out 1.00 cc and I feel much better already. Thank god last night was terrible!
  15. Hey gang! I got my 3rd fill today and I am feeling really tight! I know I only had it this morning but I didnt feel like this after my other 2 fills. I know I am supposed to feel greater restriction but after this fill this morning it feels awkward to drink Water and I could barely get down a bowl of Soup (just liquids today). Do I need to worry ? The doctor said to call him if I have trouble getting down liquids or feel uncomfortable after tmw ... is how I feel normal and I just need to give myself a day or 2 to get use to this? Or is this a sign of being "overfilled". I am still new at this so still learning!!! Thanks ahead of time for your feedback. Tips? Thoughts?
