  1. LOL!!!!!!! Boy I sure would love to have some crawfish right now!!! I"m so glad that I don't live in Louisiana because I would probably weigh over 600 lbs or more. Love me some Cajun food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Yes I had the same problem for about 3 weeks after I had my surgery which was on Dec 20th 2011. I think it was caused by the blood thinner that I rec'd while I was at the hospital. I have always been a hot natured person until I lost 90lbs a few years ago. I geuss I lost some of my insulation during that time, Lol!!! Really the only way I get cold now is if my feet get cold then the rest of me gets cold. One day recently I was so cold in the house that I had put on my gown, some thick pj pants, some thick socks, house shoes, my thick housecoat, some gloves and my toboggin, and covered up with a blanket on the couch, LOL. My husband thought I was crazy and of course he was hot. I've decided that I hate winter and want to move to a warmer climate.
  3. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I too have gotten my insurance approval today!!! I'm extremely excited and nervous all at the same time. It's taken me since the beginning of March to get this far and I go for my first doctor's appointment to discuss everything on Nov.23rd. It's going to be a long week until that time. I'm glad to know that several other people are in the same boat as I am. As for now I'm going to spend all my excess time until then reading everything I can about VSG surgery and everyone's blogs about it so I will be prepared for what lies ahead. I really would like to have my surgery before the end of the year as well. Looks like we'll have many december sleevers if all goes well !!!!
