    Hello and welcome. I am also a newbie in Houston and to the boards. I have BCBS TRS and was approved 4/29. Waiting on surgery date. I'm excited, scared, nervous, anxious, and all of that good stuff. Hope to have sugery date this week. Everything appeared to go pretty fast once I decided this was the right decision for me. I wish you well on your journey!

    Hello Everyone, I've been reading these boards for quite some time now and finally decided to register. I'm in Houston with BCBS and there is a 5,000 deductible/copay for me also. I was received my approval letter from BCBS for gastric sleeve 4/29 (so excited). Waiting on MD to call regarding surgery date. All requirements have been met. Everyone here is so nice and I have obtained so much information. Good luck to all!
