  1. My friend had gastric over the summer and I tried to do the liquid diet with her, I lasted about 4 days, but I'm thinking if it's my surgery I will be able to do the diet. My problem is I can lose weight I just need the tool to maintain the loss.
  2. Consultation check, psych evalution scheduled, still need to schedule nutritionist, EDG, and sleep study and possible 7 months worth of weight check in with primary, oh yeah and DON'T lose anymore weight or I won't qualify, Waiting on the insurance person at the office to go thru my records to find out if I need to do the 7 months of weight checks, fingers crossed I will get to skip that part

What if my BMI falls under 40 before I can get surgery? I am at 40.5 now, with no other real health issues. Thanks, Karie
  4. I'm new here, I'm just wondering what the estimated time is from consultation to surgery for everyone. My consultation is next Tuesday. I'm so excited. Insurance has been verified that they cover bariatric surgery. Thanks, Karie
  5. I have Aetna too, I have my consultation Tuesday. Is Aetna making you do the 6 month supervised diet? Thanks, Karie
