  1. I'll have to try cream soup that sounds better than broth. Yeah I'm full constantly too. I have to remind myself that I haven't eaten yet. Crazy! I still have a ton of those gas pains in my chest. It's still the worse part! Last night I kept waking up laying on my stomach, what is my sleep body thinking?! Haha I was never told to give up caffeine. My dr said I could have 1-2 cups of coffee a day so I drank coffee all throughout the pre-op diet, thank goodness because I felt so drained of energy. I haven't had any coffee since the surgery though. I just haven't been interested in it.
  2. I haven't even thought about milk shakes, never came to mind. But I don't leave the house much so maybe thats why. But think happy thoughts! My stomach doesn't like broth for some reason I think maybe because its warm. I have been prefering jello and juice or water over everything. Even the yogurt still was a little heavy yet. I'm flag you are doing better! We are all going to get through this together!
  3. I've been home for a few days now and its much better! Lots of sleep and taking it easy. Liquid diet has been super easy to stick to since my stomach is swollen. I can't wait for Monday though when I can eat mushy foods! I love sweet potatoes and apple sauce so next week shall be a breeze! I've lost 7.5 lbs post op so far! How is everyone elsr doing?!
  4. Staying in touch would be great! Congrats to u! I'm glad you are feelling okay. I think I had a bad reaction to the pain Meds, I'm currently off them, and feeling a ton better. Now I'm just waiting for the nurse to come turn my iv down because I'm peeing every 2 minutes haha, just can't win here!
  5. I had surgery this morning. I am still ay the hospital, I chose to spend the night. Thank goodness because I am miserable! I just want to throw everything up but I won't let myself. Bring on sleep! Hopefully ill feel better tomorrow. I was good all day until tonight. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband to talk me through everything and rub my back when I'm sick.
  6. They warned me of that one haha! That will be my struggle, I'm a gulper not a sipper haha!
  7. I have tricare north standard. They did just change their policy, they now require 3 month nutrition.
  8. My insurance finally approved yesterday! Talk about waiting until the last minute! I'm so over this liquid diet but I guess its not over. Just the post surgery week left!
  9. What are you finding to be difficult with it? I found it easier than I thought, I'm on protein shakes and protein bars. Were you allowed the bars?
  10. My husband is in the military so I travel back and forth between Wisconsin which is my home state and Virginia.

I have things I'm excited to do, like get back into my bakini, I have way to many and they look so sad, I'm excited for my boobs to shrink back down haha, I can't wait to be pregnant again and be able to post pictures on fb on how my stomach is growing like everyone else and not be afraid cause i already look pregnant. I use to love having my picture taken, now I hide behind everyone and all u can see is my head, I wish I could hide that too. I can't wait to play with my daughter at the park amd not gel disgusting if I bend over. I can't wait to feel good bout sex again, I hate how my stomach hangs during it. The list goes on and on.....

  15. Yesterday I set the date for February 2012~! I am so stinkin excited!
  16. Okay, I lied. Tricare just came back and wants me to be seen 2 more times. So I guess Tricare is now requiring 3 months of a supervised diet.
  17. Yes, I'm curious of the price too! Although, I'm sure it will vary depending on surgent
  18. I didn't have to do the 6 month diet but who knows, call them!
  19. Your surgeon should have a list of doctors they recomend or regularily work with. It's super easy! My apt only lasted 30 minutes.
  20. I feel for you girl! I will be in the same boat as you! I am a military wife so I am living in Virginia with my husband and daughter. All of our family and friends are back home in Wisconsin. I am having my surgery in Wisconsin because I need family to help me with my daughter while I recover. Luckily I was already planning to stay in town for a few months since my husband will be out to sea anyways. My surgeon said he should be able to fill me before I leave. However, I still need to find a doctor close to home (Virginia) incase I need an adjustment.
  21. I have Tricare North (standard) and They do not require a 6 month diet.
  22. Hello! I have tricare north as well and I am waiting for approval. You are not required to have a supervised diet. All I had to do was have a referal from my PCP, a psych evaluation and of course the things your surgeon requires. It's simple with tricare
  23. HAHA!!! Sorry, but I'm so happy to see I'm not alone here. My daughter is now 15months and I find myself still shopping for maternity clothes because I refuse to buy larger sized jeans. I went up a size since having my daughter and now all I can wear are my maternity pants or leggings. I am still waitng to get banded. My Dr. is just waitig for my psych write up then he is submitting to my insurance. Our goal is January. I am currently 257-260 (depends on the time of day) and my goal is 140.
  24. kissme posted a blog entry in Can't find a doctor~!
I am so frustrated! All I have left to do before the surgeon can submit to my insurance is the psychological evaluation. I have been calling everyone in town and I can not find a psychiatrist that handles these. My Surgeon is from my home state so he can't refer me to someone here. I live in Virginia Beach, someone please help!
