  1. So I was banded October 17th and I have lost 60lbs. since, this includes the 20 something lbs I lost during my pre diet. Since my surgery my hip and knees have been killing me much more then they ever did when I was heavier. It doesn't seem like it getting better and almost gets worst daily. I'm only 35 and I'm walking like I'm 20 years older, any thoughts of why this is happening.
  2. I was banded on 10/17/11 and I've lost 30lbs, and 22 on the pre diet for a total of 52. I get my first fill on Tuesday.
  3. Well so much very even worrying, I openned a choban Greek yogurt and had three spoonfuls in a lite over a half hour and I can't even think about eating another bite right now.
  4. Thanks, I'm going to double check my paperwork to see if it's in there, but was pretty sure I needed to separate the drinking.
  5. So tomorrow it is my one week anniversary since being banded and I get to start puréed food. I'm pretty sure this means I have to start the one bite per 10 minutes and seperating my drinking from eating but just wanted to make sure. Haven't been hungry at all but I'm looking forward to some yogurt and cottage cheese, god I sound like such a girl.
  6. Just stay focused, I was on a three week liquid diet and it was tough and I did cheat. I was able to take off 22 lbs. during those three weeks, the key is to keep your mind on other things and try to stay active, because if you just sit around that your going to start thinking about it.
  7. So I was banded on the 17th of October and I have lost 9 lbs since then, thi added with my 22 lb loss from the pre diet puts me at 31. I'm excited but know that number probably isn't true since I'm not really eating or drinking and I assume it will go back up when I move from this liquid diet to mushy, but it wa nice to see.
  8. Well so much for not feeling hungry, I feel like I need something but the protein shakes are not doing it for me. I defenetly need to get to the store for some new liquids, because muscle milk and water is driving me crazy.
  9. I have muscle milk light protein shakes and yes my stomach/chest is gurgling like crazy.
  10. Really haven't had the shoulder pain except for a little yesterday, but it was more my whole neck shoulder area making think it was from sleeping with my head propped to high. I usually sleep on my stomach but couldn't so I slept on my back using an extra pillow to keep my head up. Slept great but my neck was killing me.
  11. Thanks for the quick responses, glad to hear others had some reactions. I think I'm going to try some gatorade as I was just doing water and protein shakes for liquid. Might be like a treat.
  12. Im a little concerned that I'm not getting enough intake. I had my surgery three days ago and I've only had 3 bottles of water and 2 protein shakes. I'm not hungry or anything just worried.
