  1. Congrats! I'm getting sleeved Nov. 1.My journey has been quick as well. My 1st appt. was Sept. 15. Prayer does work!!
  2. Thanks for replying Finally Fit and RickM. FinallyFit - Please keep in touch and let me know how your surgery goes - I will be praying that all goes well for you and yours. How do you feel about being on different food stages? I guess you'll know when you get there. We are worried about being tempted if one person is on a different food phase than the other. Thanks. Hey Efamcan, Thank you so much for the prayers! I will be praying you and yours as well. I will pray you have wisdom to know the best timing for you both. By the way, there is a couple on youtube that the husband did a Vlog of his VSG experience. I believe his name on youtube is thinjourney. You might take a look and see what you think. I don't think they regretted doing it together. I believe they went to Mexico. As far as being tempted during different food stages, I'm not too concerned about that. From what I have read, heard and know, most people aren't hungry after surgery and if you have cravings, they aren't what they used to be. That coupled with a liquid diet post-op for me for 3 weeks...food isn't an option even if I want to eat. My husband, on the other hand, will wait about 8 weeks for his surgery and doesn't quite like that gap for his sake. I'm excited that by the time he goes through his, I will know how to support him better. I hope you have a great day!!
  3. Congrats! I'm scheduled for Nov. 1
  4. Hey There! My husband and I are both getting sleeved this year. I'm scheduled Nov.1 and his is Dec. 20. We were hoping to be three weeks apart, but this is what worked out for us. This way, he can take care of me and I will be well enough to be there for him when he needs me. I wish you the best!
